2014 Nationals Wrap-Up

Glad to be home and warm again for the first time in the past 5 days… not to mention that I am stoked about my results from Nationals. I finished with three 1st place finished, and three 2nd place finishes, which made me tied with my competitor. After that our best 5/6 race times were combined and I lost the total time battle- which left me second overall for National Champion. Nothing to be ashamed of! I had 6 solid races, and it was great to see that I am starting to be competitive with the top racers in the country (even some of the men, as I had a 5th place overall finish, men and women, at the GS race on Friday!) But home at last, glad to see the puppies (and my brother and sister of course). Now to all my homework…
