Winter Break by the Numbers

After 35 days of vacation I find myself back at Connecticut College re-establishing myself in my dorm room. I am thrilled to be back home and relax for a day before classes start next semester, and it is only in being able to relax that I realize what a crazy winter break I have had. Of course being a statistician I’ll break it down for you by the numbers…

I drove over 1,000 miles (while listening to 6 new country stations), in order to have 21 days of incredible skiing with temperatures ranging from 30degrees to -20. I slept in 7* different houses, only 3 of which belonged to the 10different family members I saw. In my 13 days off the snow, I completed 5summer applications, watched over 65 hours of Friends on Netflix, hiked 2peaks, learned how to make 4 new shadow puppets, bought 6 textbooks for spring semester, and attended 1 debutante ball.

So there you have it.

*Thank you so much to all of the families that let me sleep in their spare beds or couches, it made all the difference!*
